Our 3D Nautical Wood Chart of Italy showcases the immense depth and topography of the country and its surrounding waters. The map includes Italy but also features northern Africa, southern Europe, and the Mediterranean Sea. Each nautical wood map uses high-quality birch and includes details you won’t find anywhere else. An artist laser cuts pieces of birch to depict the exact coastline and water depths of the area. The layers are stacked and precisely glued together to create the depth and dimension featured in the wood charts. The water is hand-stained, and points of interest, depth indicators, and major cities are etched into the surface. The entire piece is completed with a custom-sized solid wood frame and acrylic for added protection.
